So far, TEC has been able to give away new roofs to two Lancaster County residents who were nothing short of deserving. “It was a huge milestone and moment for many of our employees. When they get to see the fruits of their labor making a significant contribution to the lives of others, there’s no stopping what they are able to accomplish,” states Joe Hydrick, Director of Business Development.
TEC’s mission to be a positive force in communities throughout the East Coast found fruition through its recent move to Downtown Lancaster.
“Being in a central location has allowed us to make connections with non-profits and other businesses and has helped our team gain traction in putting into place various give-back opportunities including roof giveaways, donations, sponsorships, and volunteering,” states TEC Marketing Coordinator, Morgan Daniels.
The first of many successful outcomes from their move came with the launch of their biggest program to date: Under One Roof. Through this initiative, a deserving community member can be nominated to receive a roof—completely free-of-charge—thanks to the efforts of the TEC Team who pledged to donate one roof for every 1,000 roofs installed. Recipients, who may not be able to afford the cost of a roof replacement, are nominated by the community.
